MY ARTWORK

Welcome to my artwork collection, where I show my personality through exploring different techniques and mediums to develop my ideas. From detailed pen drawings to mixed media experiments, my work reflects a focus on process, form, and personal exploration.

KNOLLING

Knolling is the process of arranging objects at 90-degree angles. For this project, I explored how personal and academic identities are reflected in personal belongings by photographing the contents of students’ backpacks, allowing viewers to infer their major or concentration based on the items.

The materials below are sourced from second-hand shops or repurposed clothing. My sewing journey reflects my commitment to environmental consciousness and resourcefulness, using techniques like embroidery, appliqué, and piecing to create expressive, collage-like designs.

pencil on paper

I’ve enjoyed drawing throughout my life, initially preferring the precision of pen. However, through college drawing classes, I’ve embraced pencil work, building confidence and adaptability in different styles. My inspiration comes from artists like Chiho Aoshima, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Yoshitomo Nara, as well as pop culture, including illustrating a character from Harmony Korine’s Gummo.
